Talent Pipeline

The Nashville region continues to be an area of consistent, strong growth in the talent pipeline supporting our region’s workforce. More than 100,000 students are enrolled in higher education in the Nashville area, the largest concentration in a four-state region. We retain 60 % of these graduates annually from the two- and four-year colleges and universities in our region. More than 30 percent of adults in the Nashville region have a bachelor's degree or higher, and more than 110,000 people have graduate or professional degrees.

The Nashville Area College to Career Fair has a proven record of success in providing well-qualified candidates for the hiring needs of Nashville-area employers. The Nashville Chamber partners annually with 13 institutions of higher education located within 100 miles of Nashville to hold the Nashville Area College to Career Fair and the Nashville Area Teacher Recruitment Fair. An average of 1,200 candidates attend the fairs, including alumni, bachelor's and master's degree candidates from each participating school, making this one of the largest recruiting fairs for skilled talent in the region.
